Rules of the Studio
Everything you need to know about joining our creative community at Peak Palette Studios. We keep things simple so you can focus on the paint.
1. Welcome to the Easel
By accessing this website and booking a session, you're agreeing to the creative standards and rules of Peak Palette Studios. We're here to provide a safe, vibrant space for everyone to explore acrylic techniques. Ready to dive in? Let's talk about the fine print first.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens, we get it. If you need to reschedule a class, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time are unfortunately non-refundable as we've already prepped your palette!
Art Supply Refunds
Unused paints and brushes in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days. Opened pigments or used canvas boards cannot be returned. We want you to love your tools, so if there's a manufacturing defect, we'll swap it out immediately.
2. Workshop Etiquette
Our studio is a place of mutual respect. We expect all students to follow the instructor's safety guidelines, especially regarding the disposal of acrylic waste and brush cleaners. How do we keep the vibes high? By ensuring everyone's workspace is respected and cleaned at the end of the session.
- Participants must be 16+ for adult workshops unless specified otherwise.
- Studio equipment is for shared use; please treat brushes with care.
- We reserve the right to ask anyone being disruptive to leave without a refund.
- Photos of student work may be taken for our gallery (we'll always ask for your permission first!).
3. Digital Content & Tutorials
Purchased virtual tutorials are for your personal use only. Sharing logins or redistributing our technique videos is strictly prohibited. Why? Because these lessons represent years of our artists' expertise and hard work. Let's keep the art community fair.
Need more clarity? If these terms feel more complicated than mixing the perfect shade of ochre, just drop us a line at info@minagawa.info. We're happy to chat about any specifics regarding NYC studio access or our shipping policies.
